2 posts in one day... ridiculous

i normally don't post twice a day but i just had to share this:

it is the most perfect, wonderful, beautiful night ever tonight.

florida has given up the heat for a few hours and replaced it with a cool breeze, clear skies, and a peaceful quiet. my house is on a private road, far from any street lights or big roads or other light polluting, noisy things. so when i left the house at 10:30 to pick up starbucks donations, i stopped to spin beneath the starlight for a moment. and upon my return home, i cut a slice of my freshly baked homemade banana bread, and headed for my back yard. i enjoyed sticky, warm, moist deliciousness whilst listening to the trees tell me stories and watch the night paint a story with the stars. then i laid on my back and breathed the universe in. it was a glorious moment, one i felt was worthy of a second blog post for today.

if you're in the tampa bay area and read this before the night is over, i highly suggest a trek somewhere where you can truly appreciate the grandeur.

i would've slept outside if i wasn't afraid of getting eaten alive by mosquitoes, or the pack of coyotes that prowls our neighborhood and even our back yard on occasion. i also would've prolonged the moment if i already wasn't putting of sleep for so long- 6 am comes quickly.
